Religious Education Department

OVERVIEW

Train up a child according to the way he should go; / Even when he is old, he will not depart from it (Prov. 22:6).

The Bachelor of Religious Education degree is designed to train students to be successful Christian educators in K-8 private schools, church congregations, or parachurch ministries. The curriculum integrates a holistic understanding of Biblical foundations with robust coursework in course development, best practices in student learning styles, and teacher training. Students can expect a low instructor-to-student ratio in the classroom, professional development under a host of highly experienced and qualified instructors, and a personalized program to meet their career aspirations. Upon completion, graduates will be equipped to help those under their care achieve the highest academic standards while simultaneously guiding them to honor God in the midst of a crooked and perverted generation
