When considering coming to Bible College, one should feel a calling on their life by God into ministry. Making a decision as important as this needs many hours of prayer seeking God’s direction for your life. Bible College not only involves years of study, but is very often the first step in a life long commitment to serving Jesus Christ and others. There is nothing more rewarding or more important than studying God’s Word and then sharing it with others. Seeing lost souls come to Jesus and knowing God used you to help them in that process is awesome. God looks for a willing and committed heart for Him and His word. Canada Christian College is recognized by the Ministry of Training Colleges and Universities as a privately funded institution with degree- granting authority. Canada Christian College has the same level of degree granting authority as all other recognized universities in Ontario. Applicants for admission to Canada Christian College will be considered without regard to race, class or nationality. The prospective student is assessed according to academic background and personal testimony. When considering applications, the Registrar’s Office reviews the prospective student’s complete record, recommendations and personal information.

It is important that a student read, sign and abide by the College Standards.

Students applying for admission to Canada Christian College will normally have completed their Ontario Secondary School Diploma (Grade Twelve) or equivalent. Mature students (21 years of age and over) who lack a high school academic diploma may make application for Mature Student Admission. Such applicants will be required to demonstrate a level of general knowledge consistent with that of students being admitted from a secondary school in order to ensure their ability to undertake studies at the post-secondary level. We would like to encourage you to come in and visit the College and see the facilities. A personal tour can be arranged upon appointment. Please feel free to talk to us about the calling God is placing on your life. We have trained individuals who are here to guide and pray with you in seeking God’s direction for you. If God is calling you, don’t delay.

All incoming students will be assigned to a meeting with the Registrar of the College or an associate, who will advise them and monitor their progress on a personal basis. An experienced counsellor is available to help students with their vocational or personal questions. Psychological testing services as an adjunct to this kind of counselling are also available. Twice a week a professional counsellor is also available on campus at the Stress Centre. Hours will be posted on the outside of the Counselling office. If counselling is to be of a long term personal nature, students, staff and faculty who use the service are responsible for their own financial arrangements with the counsellor.

The College President, Registrar and Dean of Students are also qualified to counsel on a number of personal and spiritual issues with students who struggle with problems relating to their faith life. The Counselling Department offers a Christian career resource service, self-assessment tests, personality tests and interest identification.
