Canada Christian College’s Day in Court February 14th to Start University

By Dr. Charles McVety | February 3, 2022

Good News! Canada Christian College will receive its day in court on February 14th, and it looks like we will be successful. Canada must be a nation of due process, fairness and truthfulness. The factums are complete, discoveries are on the record, evidence is in and the trial is very soon.

As you know, the College applied to change its name to “University” and add two degrees. The Ontario Legislature democratically passed the changes as Bill 213, and it received Royal Assent on December 8th, 2020. Unfortunately, some bureaucrats have wrongfully attempted to stop the implementation date, and we believe the Court will correct this wrongdoing.

The two bureaucrats and their legal counsel argue that “the College does not deserve procedural fairness”; therefore, it is not an issue that they (the bureaucrats) submitted inaccurate and incomplete information to the Minister. They also testified that you cannot have a university with academic freedom tied to a Christian statement of faith. Clear and concise evidence is now part of the court record displaying the bias of the bureaucrats as they breached privacy laws and then gave interviews with the press. The purpose of government is not to allow individuals to exert their personal agenda or abuse their position of trust.

As you know, there are strong forces in our society against higher Christian education. They blocked the formation of Trinity Western Law School and are trying to stop our university programs. Such people stand in the way of freedom and democracy.
I need your help.

This battle is very costly. There is a team of lawyers who are diligently preparing to win our freedom and are not billing for a good portion of their time; however, we need to raise $90,000 this month to pay the costs. Please help. Do your very best and click on the donate button.

As Christians, we face challenges on all sides, and we wonder what the future in Canada will be like for our children and children’s children. Our forefathers fought valiantly for our freedom, and if we put everything we have into these battles, Canada will be a wonderfully free place to live.
I look forward to partnering with you and giving you good news after the trial on February 14th.

May God bless you as you stand with us.
