Where we Stand on Current Issues

Canada Christian College believes that the entire Bible is divinely inspired and inerrant.  All portions of the Bible are understood to be relevant with ordering the daily lives and ministries of faculty, staff, and students.  In line with this belief, we affirm that all human beings are made in the image of God, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or being differently abled.

Race: God loves people of all races.  We are proud to be the most diverse college in Ontario.  Over 80% of our student body are visible minorities, 60% of whom are black.  Over half of our faculty are visible minorities, including our Academic Dean and five of our Department Deans.

Gender: God loves people of all genders.  We are proud to ordain both women and men to serve in church congregations, both in Canada and across the world.

Sexual Orientation: God loves people of all sexual orientations.  We are proud to minister, care for, and express God’s love to all human beings, including individuals from the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.  Students interested in working in these communities can enroll in MINS 230:Love, Dignity and Respect – Caring for The LGBTQ Community.

Religion: God loves people of all religions.  We are proud to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with our God-created brothers and sisters to fight against anti-religious discrimination.  Students interested in interacting with individuals of other religions can enroll in courses devoted to explicating their worldviews: THEO 355:Eastern Religions, THEO 350: Hinduism, THEO 356: Introduction to World Religions, THEO 365: Animism, or THEO 371: Islam.

Differently-Abled: God loves people of all abilities.  We are proud to have a diverse student body and alumni community possessing different physical, mental, and psychological abilities.  We believe it is our mission to express God’s love and serve all of these communities.
