OVERVIEW

The Bachelor of Theology Degree with a major in Business and Communications is a recognized program designed to meet the growing demand for accounting professionals nationwide and globally. This four-year program offers career-minded students the opportunity to develop the practical accounting skills and theoretical knowledge that are highly desired by employers. Areas of study include core business and accounting courses, as well as courses on ethics, communication, computers, and more. In contrast to a traditional business degree program, graduates will also complete courses in theology and counselling.

About THE DEAN

Roma obtained her undergraduate degree in Business Administrative Studies at Toronto’s York University. She completed her Master’s Degree in Theology and her Doctor of Ministry at Canada Christian College & School of Graduate Studies. Roma holds the Accounting designations of Certified Management Accountant (CMA(aus)), Registered Professional Accountant (RPA) and Certified Business Accountant (CBA). 

Her teaching experience includes five years as a full-time public school teacher, four years as an Accounting Professor at Centennial College and six years as a Business Professor at Canada Christian College & School of Graduate Theological Studies where she currently holds the position of Dean of Business. 

Roma is a board member of The Association for Professional Accounting & Tax Services as well as several charitable organizations including Scarborough Christian Academy. She is the Canadian coordinator of Congress Corporate, a global business initiative of Congress-WBN. 

With her wide wealth of knowledge and experience, Roma is a demanded keynote speaker at business conferences, seminars and strategic development meetings. She also speaks regularly at various church organizations.
