Eunice Hong started playing the piano at the age of six with a dream of becoming a pianist. Under a strict teacher, she eagerly took piano lessons to improve her skills and won first place in her first piano competition at the age of ten.  After then, she started to win numerous awards in various piano competitions.  In addition to piano, she also learned vocal music and flute and worked in the school choir and the school band.

When Eunice was 11 years old, her best friend invited her to go to church.  From then, she started knowing God’s love and Grace and has been doing a lot of activities at church.  She started playing the piano since Sunday school and has served as a worship accompaniment steadily until recently and had been active in church bands.  In addition, she had been directing the choir and the Sunday School children’s musical for many years.  These activities helped her get to know God more and grow her religious maturity and taught her how to sacrifice and serve others.

Eunice did a Bachelor of Fine Arts specialized in classical piano performance at York University and received Associate Diploma (ARCT) in Piano Performance at Royal Conservatory and is currently an RCM Certified Teacher.  She has taught piano and music theory for over 20 years and successfully led many students a chance to excel in RCM piano and theory tests and piano competitions and also led them to their musical development and improvement.  She has been teaching piano lessons and music theory courses at Canada Christian College since 2014.  Currently, Eunice is studying sociology at the University of Toronto (St. George Campus).  Through this study, she wants to learn about the role music can play in this society and how it can benefit this society.  She lives in Toronto with her parents and cats, and her hobbies are cooking and watching movies.
