Born and raised in India, Dr. Sheela Duraisami was radically saved at the age of 17 and has never looked back. She graduated from the University of Chennai with a major in English Literature at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Ever since she first read the Bible, she has been a passionate lover of the Word, and a compulsive sharer of the gospel. She has experienced supernatural moves of God where salvations, miraculous healings & deliverances were frequent. She has also personally led several people from other faiths to Christ.

Following a clear word from the Lord, Sheela and her husband Peter migrated to Canada where she pursued theological studies at Tyndale Seminary and Canada Christian College, and earned her doctorate degree. Together they founded Church on The Rock International Ministries where she now serves as Senior Pastor.

Dr. Sheela also hosts a weekly television program called “Eagles Voice” broadcast nationally on YesTV, where she has been preaching the uncompromising message of hope and salvation through Jesus since 2011. She has travelled and ministered in several conferences as the key note speaker, and has conducted seminars and workshops on The Holy Spirit, Prophecy, Spiritual Warfare, and Intercessory Prayers. A prolific speaker, Dr. Duraisami preaches the word of God with passion and clarity. She carries a unique prophetic mantle that brings breakthrough and hope to all who hear.

Sheela has enjoyed teaching at Canada Christian College since 1999, and has been much loved by all her students. Her passion is two-fold: to see revival sweep across the nation of Canada, and to see her students come into their God ordained destiny. Sheela lives in Toronto with her husband Peter and their two boys Yohan and Joshua.
