A visionary and compassionate counsellor who loves to challenge individuals to achieve success by becoming fully self-actualized thus fulfilling their destiny and purpose.

Winsome worked in the business sector in the areas of administration and operation for over twenty years and during that time had the opportunity of heading up VMBS Overseas (Canada) Inc., as the Operations Manager.  She has transitioned into the counselling field in fulfilling the call of God to help Him to counsel those who are hurting, experiencing physical and emotional trauma and in need of hope, thus bringing solutions to their spiritual, emotional, relational and financial needs.  She believes in the power of the Holy Spirit to save, heal and deliver the people of the world.

Her quest for learning is the driving force that propelled her toward higher learning and the passion to help society and the Kingdom of God.  She holds a Diploma in Management Studies, Bachelor of Administrative Management (Honour), and a Bachelor of Theology.  She also holds a Master of Christian Counselling from Canada Christian College (CCC) graduating at the top of her class and was the Valedictorian.  Her Master’s research focused on “The Bible and Same Gender Marriage” (A New Frontier for Christian Counselling).   

Winsome later went on to complete her Doctor of Christian Counselling as well as a one-year certificate in Leadership.  Her doctoral work researched “The Influence of Parenting on the Psychological Growth and Development of Children.” Winsome interned at Bayridge Family Counselling Centre where she counselled those who were hurting, experiencing difficulties in their marriage, relationships, suffering from depression and anxiety.  Of note, a couple who was on the verge of divorce, on entering the therapeutic process, hope and love was renewed through counselling and their marriage was restored.  God deserves all praise, honour and glory.

Currently, Winsome is a Professor at Canada Christian College in the Psychology and Counselling Department, where she has lectured various courses, inclusive of, Introduction to Psychology, Systems Theory and Family Addictions.  She is a Certified Clinical Counsellor with the Canadian College of Christian Counsellors and a member of Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals.

Winsome is a woman of the Word of God, passionate worshipper, spirit-filled prayer, faith and prophetic intercession and believes in the power of the Holy Spirit to guide and lead us in all truth.  She honours and glorifies God and knows that according to Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me,” and in Matthew 19:26, But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”  She trusts God’s Word, knowing that it will accomplish wherever He sends it.

She is passionate about her marriage.  Winsome is married to a wonderful and great man of God, Robert, the love of her life.  They have been in covenant for twenty-two years.  Robert is her anchor who has allowed her to soar on eagle’s wings.
